VARSITY B
Head Coach Alex Moyer
Alex Moyer is an Indiana native and High School graduate of Zionsville High School During high school, Alex not only had a passion for lacrosse, where they won a High School Championship in 2003, but also found a calling for working on cars, which is where his career in the Automotive Industry started. He is now the owner of Vivid Automotive and has been for almost 10 years. Alex’s love for hockey started at a young age and, along with cars, was his sole focus through his school years; he played on many travel teams and had a handful of coaches who helped shape and mold him, both as a player and as a person. It is this reason he has such a drive for coaching at the high school level; he strives to not only be the best coach he can, but also an advocate for his players. Alex has spent the last four seasons as the Head Coach for the Northside Hockey, spending multiple seasons prior coaching for IYHA and Indy Jr. Fuel. He holds a level 4 USA Hockey certification and attends all classes he can to retain the highest level certification he can. His coaching outlook is simple, he not only wants your athlete to excel on the ice, but also off the ice; he knows that through guidance, tough love, and discipline, he is not only preparing the athlete for the game, but also for life after. When Alex is not on the ice coaching, or playing men’s league, you can find him golfing or spending time with his wife (and three dogs).
